STAROVOLSHZKIY BRIDGE OVER THE VOLGA RIVER, TVER, RUSSIA

Starovolshzkiy Bridge over the Volga River was the first permanent bridge in Tver. Constructed in 1897—1900 and designed by the Czechoslovakian engineer L. I. Mashek the bridge, with a total length of 215.5 m has a long history, so it was an honour for us to be involved in developing the lighting concept for this monumental structure.
The beautiful and elegant Starovolshzkiy Bridge is one of the icons of Tver. It's night image created by our designers enhances the steel architectural elements by using the combination of two colours: cold white and blue. The lighting concept for the bridge was created as a part of the Tver city lighting masterplan developed by our studio.
