Estonia - Jöhvi

Jõhvi (German: Jewe, Russian: Йыхви) is a town in north-eastern Estonia, and the capital of Ida-Viru County. The town is also an administrative centre of Jõhvi Parish. It is situated 50 km from the Russian border.

Ethnic Estonians are a minority in Jõhvi, as about 55% of the town's population are either ethnic Russians who arrived in Estonia during the period of Soviet rule of Estonia (1944 - 1991) or their descendants.

Estonia - Tartu

Tartu is the second largest city of Estonia, following Estonia's political and financial capital Tallinn, Tartu is often considered the intellectual centre of the country, especially since it is home to the nation's oldest and most renowned university, the University of Tartu. The city also houses the Supreme Court of Estonia and the Ministry of Education and Research. Situated 186 kilometres (116 miles) southeast of Tallinn, Tartu is the centre of southern Estonia and lies on the Emajõgi ("Mother river"), which connects the two largest lakes of Estonia. The city is served by Tartu Airport.

The ancient Estonian fortress of Tarbatu was founded in the 5th century AD. Historical names for the city include German Dorpat (from the 13th century) and Russian Yuryev (Юрьев, from 1030) and Derpt (Дерпт).

Arched Bridge (the pedestrian bridge , concrete bridge ) is a pedestrian arch bridge in Tartu city center and Ülejõe district between the Town Hall Square in the Town Hall opposite the Emajõgi . The bridge was built in 1957, - in 1959 the former stone bridge in place, the abutments foundations. The bridge is the architect Peter Varep  . Until the completion of the bridge was carrying people on a regular basis over the river in the 1950s (a few dozen meters from the bridge upstream) long rowboat. 

A similar bridge project was completed in 1870 . year. 

Estonia - Tallinn

Tallinn  is the capital and largest city of Estonia. Tallinn is situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland, in north-western Estonia.The largest lake in Tallinn is Lake Ülemiste (9.44 km² (3.6 sq mi)). It is the main source of the city's drinking water. Lake Harku is the second largest lake within the borders of Tallinn and its area is 1.6 square kilometres (0.6 sq mi). Tallinn does not lie on a major river. The only significant river in Tallinn is Pirita River in Pirita, a city district counted as a suburb. Historically, the small Härjapea River flowed from Lake Ülemiste through the town into the sea, but the river was diverted for sewage in the 1930s and has since completely disappeared from the cityscape. References to it still remain in the street names Jõe (from Jõgi, river) and Kivisilla (from Kivisild, stone bridge).

A limestone cliff runs through the city. It can be seen at Toompea, Lasnamäe and Astangu. However, Toompea is not a part of the cliff, but a separate hill.The highest point in Tallinn, at 64 meters above sea level, is situated in Hiiu, Nõmme District, in the south-west of the city.

The length of the coast is 46 kilometres (29 miles). It comprises three bigger peninsulas: Kopli peninsula, Paljassaare peninsula and Kakumäe peninsula.

Kihnu (Swedish: Kynö) is an island in the Baltic Sea. With an area of 16,4 km² it is the largest island in the Gulf of Riga and the seventh largest island of Estonia. The length of the island is 7 km and width 3.3 km, the highest point is at 8.9 m above sea level.
