Freyburg is a town in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-AnhaltGermany. It is situated on the river Unstrut, 9 km northwest of Hanseatic Naumburg, 63 km fromLeipzig and 231 km from Berlin. It is part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") Unstruttal.
Neuenburg Castle is a hilltop castle in Freyburg, a town in the state of Saxony-AnhaltGermany. The castle was built around 1090 by the Thuringian count Ludwig der Springer, securing his territory in the east, as did its sister castle Wartburg in the west.

Wittenberg, officially Lutherstadt Wittenberg, is a city in Saxony-AnhaltGermany. Situated on the river ElbeThe importance of Wittenberg historically was due to its seat of the Elector of Saxony, a dignity held by the dukes of Saxe-Wittenberg and also to its close connection with Martin Luther and the dawn of the Protestant Reformation; several of its buildings are associated with the events of this time. Part of the Augustinian monastery in which Luther dwelt, first as a monk and later as owner with his wife and family, is preserved and considered to be the world's premier museum dedicated to Luther. 
The Luther-Melanchthon-Gymnasium (short LuMe or LMG) in Wittenberg is the Germany's only school , which according to the plans of Viennese architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser was rebuilt. The reconstruction took place from 1997 to 1999; Hundertwasser, who died in 2000, has not seen the rebuilt school. Apart from this school has Saxony-Anhalt with the Green Citadel of Magdeburg another Hundertwasser building.

Wernigerode  is a town in the district of HarzSaxony-AnhaltGermanyThe town lies at about 250 metres above sea level (NN) on the northeastern flank of the Harz Mountains in central Germany, at the foot of their highest peak, the Brocken, on the B 6 and B 244 federal highways and on the railway line from Halberstadt to Vienenburg that links the cities of Halle (Saale) and Hanover.

Eisleben is a town in Saxony-AnhaltGermany. It is famous as the hometown of Martin Luther; hence, its official name is Lutherstadt EislebenEisleben is divided into old and new towns (Altstadt and Neustadt), the latter of which was created for Eisleben's miners in the 14th century. Eisleben was the capital of the district of Mansfelder Land and is the seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") Lutherstadt Eisleben.
